In this role, you'll build strong relationships with residents, uncover their unique stories, and plan activities that make every day special.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with residents to understand their interests and life stories, enabling you to create personalized group activities and one-on-one sessions.
- Lead the Team: Manage and inspire the Activities Team, ensuring they have the resources and support to deliver exceptional activities.
- Plan and Organize: Design and facilitate a variety of activities supported by evidence-based planning, ensuring they are both meaningful and enjoyable for residents.
- Collaborate with the Community: Liaise with community groups to bring in fresh ideas and resources that enhance residents' experiences.
- Manage Budgets: Oversee the care home’s wellbeing and activity expenditure to ensure resources are used effectively.
