Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership – Lead and support a team of carers to ensure outstanding care is delivered to all residents.
- Resident Wellbeing – Ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met with compassion and respect.
- Compliance & Best Practice – Maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Staff Development – Mentor and support your team, ensuring they have the training and guidance needed to excel in their roles.
- Person-Centred Care – Ensure all care plans are tailored to individual residents, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Support Management – Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the care home.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care – Essential for this role.
- Experience in Elderly Care – Previous experience working in a residential care setting is required.
- Leadership Skills – You have experience in supervising staff and leading a team effectively.
- Strong Communication – Ability to liaise with residents, families, and colleagues professionally and empathetically.
- Passion for Care – A genuine desire to improve the lives of residents and support them to live with dignity.
- Organisational Abilities – Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
