Deputy Manager – Join Our Caring Leadership Team - £1500 Welcome Bonus!

Location: Deeside Care Home,
Contract: Full Time
Salary: £25.00 per hour (equivalent to £50,050 per annum)
Welcome Bonus: £1,500 (paid in two instalments of £750 at 3 months and 6 months).
Shift Type: Day Shift

Contracted Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Deeside Care Home, located in the picturesque Royal Deeside, is a purpose-built, 68-bedded facility offering high-quality Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care. What You’ll Do:

  •  Lead Clinical Care: Provide outstanding nursing care, ensuring each resident’s needs are met with dignity, respect, and the highest standards.
  •  Medication & Wound Management: Oversee medication administration and wound care, ensuring best practice protocols are followed.
  •  Team Leadership & Training: Mentor, train, and lead your team to build their confidence and clinical expertise, while fostering a positive team culture.
  •  Resident Wellbeing: Create a nurturing, engaging environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
  •  Compliance: Ensure all care procedures align with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  •  Deputy Manager Support: Act as a deputy to the Home Manager, providing leadership and managing any challenges that arise.

What We’re Looking For:

  •  RGN/RMN with Active NMC Registration: Essential for this role.
  •  Experience in Elderly Care: Previous experience in a nursing home or similar environment is preferred.
  •  Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: You’ll need to lead by example and build strong relationships with your team, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  •  Clinical Expertise: Confidence in managing medication, wound care, and leading a clinical team.
  •  Adaptability: You’ll need to be flexible, covering shifts when necessary and stepping up in the absence of the Home Manager.
